Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an international popular topic among enterprises in recent years. Starting from year 2007, Junior Chamber International Macao, China (JCI Macao, China) has been continually engaging in the promotion and implementation of CSR to local enterprises. This year, JCI Macao, China will continue the effort in making more local and overseas-invested enterprises to involve in CSR by raising their attention towards the solutions to lack of human resource.
Human resource is one of the important driving forces of an enterprise. Meanwhile, with the rapid growth of Macao, enterprises are having tension on hiring locals whom better understand Macao’s working environment. Hiring the social vulnerable groups then becomes one of the solutions to the situation of lack of manpower. Most of the social vulnerable groups in Macao are well-educated, loyal to their employers, and enthusiastic towards the job tasks they are assigned.
By encouraging enterprises and the groups to understand the offers and needs between each other, JCI Macao, China had launched a series of activities of the 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project Series “Unite to Create a Wall-Less City”. With sharing session, video contest, job expo, and CSR international forum, we aim to connect the government, enterprise, and employment seekers through the interactive platform we provide.
