Language and Culture Day

The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) recently held the first UM Language and Culture Day. With the theme of ‘Value your own language and embrace others’ cultures’, the event aims to encourage UM faculty members and students to learn more about other cultures in the world and at the same time treasure their own mother tongues.
FAH features “Languages and Cultures Fair” on the UM Open Day, with 10 booth games of a series of language, culture, interpreting and philosophy games to give visitors a learning-with-fun experience and feel the unique multi-lingual and cultural background of FAH.
